After Meikle’s presentation, Dr. Nasiek followed with a discussion on Covid-19 and the rise in positive cases in the last few weeks. He spoke about the Omicron variant and the importance in seeking early medical treatment if symptomatic. Dr. Nasiek spoke about the Covid-19 booster and stressed the importance of vaccination. For those that do contract the virus, Dr. Nasiek presented an algorithm of steps and supplements recommended to aid in immune support during and in further prevention of the illness. He also had samples of the recommended supplements called the Nutraceutical bundle which he gave away at the end of the presentation, reminding all in attendance that the supplements should be taken prophylactically, as well as if you start to experience symptoms.
